New for 2011 from vivid imaginations comes the new range of One Direction dolls.

One Direction is a boy band who were put together by Simon Cowell on last year’s hit TV show X-Factor.

One Direction who consist of 5 very cheeky and gorgeous boys; Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan were all eliminated in the group stages and the brought back together for the judges houses round as a group.
One Direction just like JLS the year before made it onto the Live rounds and all the way to the final round coming third!

Already seen on the latest TV advert for Nintendo's 3DS and with an album being released in the Autumn One Direction is going to hit fever pitch and now Vivid Imaginations are going to release dolls of the boys just in time for Christmas as they did with last year’s JLS range of Dolls.

The One Direction Figures or 1D dolls as they are also known will be very life like and will feature clothing and accessories as well as an extra suprise.

One Direction Tour

The One Direction boys were a massive hit on the record breaking X-Factor arena tour this year and with there own single and debut album being released by Christmas One Direction are really on the verge of hitting the big time.
It really is amazing how well One Direction have done and it feels like it was fait that brought the five lads together.
One Direction is made up of Liam Payne, 17, Harry Styles, 16, Louis Tomlinson, 18, Niall Horan, 17 and Zayn Malik, 17. They were put together in the Bootcamp stage of The X Factor 2010 by the judges and ended up coming third in the competition, this alone was an amazing achievment.

About X-Factor

The X-Factor started life back in 2004 when it allowed members of the public to audition if front of a panel of judges with the dream that they could become international popstars.

The X-Factor arrived late on the scene as was seen as a replacement for Pop Idol which Simon Cowell also judged on.

There have been seven winners to date, some you will remember and are global stars like Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke and some you have probably forgot about already like Steve Brookstein, Shayne Ward, Leon Jackson, Joe McElderry. It will be interesting to see if 2010's winner Matt Cardle will get the career he wants and becomes world famous.
But it's the runners up that have really done well and in particular the 2 boy bands JLS and 1D who were both runners up!
